The Growth Council
A confidential peer advisory group for business owners and CEOs who have moved past survival mode and are building the infrastructure for scale. Quarterly gatherings, shared benchmarks, expert facilitation, and direct access to CJM's revenue engineering methodology.
What the Council Is
A Room of Peers Who Understand the Weight of the Job
Peer Advisory
12–16 business owners and CEOs per cohort. Carefully selected for complementary industries, similar scale, and shared commitment to systematic growth. No competitors in the same room.
Shared Benchmarks
Quarterly benchmarking across revenue, operations, and growth metrics. See how your numbers compare — not to industry averages, but to peers at your level who are serious about measurement.
Expert Facilitation
Cecil Jones facilitates every gathering. Each session has a structured agenda built around a specific growth constraint — pricing, hiring, systems, exit planning — with pre-work and follow-up.
Confidential
What's shared in the Council stays in the Council. No recordings. No social media. A trusted environment where you can discuss the real problems you can't talk about anywhere else.
Revenue Engineering Access
Council members get direct access to CJM's revenue engineering methodology, tools, and frameworks — including early access to new diagnostics before they're released publicly.
Quarterly Gatherings
Four full-day sessions per year, plus one annual two-day retreat. Each gathering includes a deep-dive on one member's business, a facilitated constraint resolution session, and dinner.
Who the Council Is For
This Is Not for Everyone. That's the Point.
You're a fit if:
- ✓You own or lead a business doing $2M–$100M in revenue.
- ✓You've moved past survival — you're building infrastructure for the next stage of growth.
- ✓You're willing to be honest about your numbers and your challenges in a confidential room.
- ✓You're committed to showing up — four gatherings a year, plus the annual retreat.
- ✓You value candor over comfort and feedback over flattery.
This isn't for you if:
- ✗You're in startup mode and haven't found product-market fit yet.
- ✗You're looking for a networking group to collect business cards.
- ✗You're not willing to share your real numbers with peers.
- ✗You can't commit to the quarterly gathering schedule.
- ✗You want someone to tell you what to do without doing the work yourself.

Beyond the Gatherings
Office Hours, Executive Coaching & Priority Access
The Council is not four days a year. It is an ongoing relationship with a community of peers and CJM advisory resources available when you need them — not just when the calendar says so.
Monthly Office Hours
One hour each month, Cecil is available exclusively to Council members for unfiltered Q&A. Bring your hardest problem. No agenda, no presentation — just direct access to revenue engineering expertise when you're stuck. Scheduled as a standing video call with optional in-person attendance for local members.
Executive Coaching
Every Council member receives one private 60-minute executive coaching session with Cecil per quarter. These sessions go deeper than the group setting allows — personal leadership challenges, succession planning, exit strategy, conflict resolution. Completely confidential. Not recorded. Not shared with the group.
Priority Consulting Access
Council members bypass the standard Strategy Session queue. When your business needs CJM consulting or implementation support, you receive priority scheduling and preferential project pricing not available to non-members. This alone often covers the annual membership investment.
Resource Library
Members receive the complete CJM Resource Library: every playbook, worksheet, calculator, diagnostic, assessment, and framework CJM has developed — including those not yet publicly released. Updated quarterly. Organized by revenue discipline with implementation guides for each resource.
Implementation Reviews
Each member presents a quarterly implementation review to the Council: what you committed to last quarter, what you delivered, what blocked you, and what you learned. Peer accountability — not to a consultant, but to a room of equals who are doing the same work in their own businesses.
Quarterly Planning Intensive
In the month before each quarterly gathering, Cecil reviews every member's numbers and prepares a customized constraint analysis. Each gathering includes a facilitated planning session where you build your next quarter's growth architecture — not from a template, but from your actual data and the Council's collective intelligence.
The Framework
The Revenue Systems Framework™ Applied to Peer Advisory
Every Council session, coaching call, and implementation review is structured around the Revenue Systems Framework™ — the same architecture that powers the CJM Revenue Systems Institute. Members learn the framework by applying it to their own business, quarter after quarter.
Customer Acquisition
Quarterly review of lead generation architecture, channel performance, cost per lead by source, and ICP refinement. Members benchmark acquisition efficiency against the cohort.
Lead Conversion
Deep-dive on lead response time, qualification frameworks, pipeline conversion rates, and sales process optimization. One member's sales system is reviewed in detail each gathering.
Revenue Optimization
Pricing strategy, packaging, proposal architecture, and expansion revenue. The Council's collective pricing intelligence is often worth the membership investment by itself.
Customer Retention
Churn analysis, retention cohort performance, customer health scoring, and win-back program effectiveness. Retention metrics are benchmarked across the cohort quarterly.
Referral Growth
Systematic referral generation, strategic partnership development, and advocacy program design. Members share referral systems that are working — not theories.
AI & Automation
Practical AI deployment review: what's working, what's not, what's next. Members share vendor experiences, implementation pitfalls, and measured results.
Leadership & Operations
Organizational design, executive operating systems, process architecture, and capacity planning. The leadership constraint is addressed directly — not danced around.
Business Intelligence
Dashboard review, KPI selection, attribution modeling, and forecasting accuracy. Members share their actual dashboards — not sanitized versions.
Measurement
The metrics that drive every other pillar. Quarterly benchmark data submission creates the cohort's shared intelligence — your numbers compared to peers, not industry averages.
The Network
More Than a Room. A Network.
The value of the Growth Council compounds over time. Members who have been in the room together for two years know each other's businesses well enough to spot problems before the owner does. That depth of peer relationship cannot be replicated by a conference, a networking group, or a mastermind.
Alumni Network
Council alumni remain connected through an annual alumni dinner and a private digital community. Former members often become resources for current members — mentors who understand the specific context of the Council experience.
Cross-Cohort Introductions
When a member needs expertise outside the current cohort — a specific industry contact, a functional specialist, an operator who has solved the exact problem they're facing — Cecil facilitates introductions across the alumni network.
Member Spotlights
Each quarter, one member's business is featured in a confidential deep-dive. The member presents their numbers, their constraints, and their questions. The room works the problem. These sessions consistently produce breakthroughs that individual coaching cannot.
Private Digital Community
A secure, invitation-only channel (not social media) for between-session communication. Members share articles, ask questions, post wins, and request help. Cecil monitors and contributes daily. No algorithms. No noise. Just the Council.
How to Join
Membership Begins With a Conversation
The Growth Council is invitation-only, but every invitation starts with a free 15-minute Strategy Call. Cecil will assess mutual fit, answer questions about the Council, and — if appropriate — extend an invitation to the next cohort. Membership is annual with quarterly payment options. The investment is discussed during the qualification conversation — not before we've established that the Council is the right vehicle for your growth.
